Volirhynchia volitans
Taxonomy
Rhynchonella volitans was named by Bittner (1890). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Han Bulog, near Sarajevo (Geol Reichsanstalt coll), which is in an Illyrian marine limestone in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was recombined as Volirhynchia volitans by Dagys (1974).
