Mentzelioides meridialis

Taxonomy
Mentzeliopsis meridialis was named by Dagys (1963). Its type specimen is IGiG No. 187/1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is River Sachray, Northern Caucasus, which is in a Norian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Mentzelioides meridialis by Dagys (1974).
