Taxonomy
Spinolepismatina inconstans was named by Dagys (1974). Its type specimen is IGiG 394/73, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sakhray River, Northwest Caucasus (Norian), which is in a Norian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
