Taxonomy
Spirigera erubescens was named by De Toni (1913). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Valdepena Limestone Quarry, which is in an Anisian/Ladinian carbonate limestone in Italy.

It was recombined as Spirigerellina erubescens by Dagys (1974).
