Taxonomy
Tolypammina solontsovica was named by Ivanova (2000). Its type specimen is IGiG UrO RAN 4/167, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Askyn River, Sample 1512-8, which is in a Bashkirian carbonate limestone in the Syuransky Formation of the Russian Federation.
