Taxonomy
Mediocris (Plectomediocris) venustus was named by Ivanova (2000). Its type specimen is IGiG UrO RAN 4/154, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yuryuzan, village of B. Luki, Sample 12/89-19, which is in a Bashkirian carbonate limestone in the Akavassky Formation of the Russian Federation.
