Taxonomy
Verella fusiformis was named by Ivanova (2000). Its type specimen is IGiG UrO RAN 4/134, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chusovaya River, section Sokol, Sample 1/91-16o, which is in a Bashkirian carbonate limestone in the Asatausky Formation of the Russian Federation.
