Megaceratites subnodosus

Taxonomy
Ceratites subnodosus was named by von Mojsisovics (1882). It is not extant. Its type locality is Schreyeralm (Geol Reichsanstalt coll), which is in an Illyrian carbonate limestone in the Schreyeralm Formation of Austria.

It was recombined as Paraceratites subnodosus by Spath (1934), Gu et al. (1980) and Vörös and Pálfy (1989); it was recombined as Megaceratites subnodosus by Vörös (2010) and Vörös (2018).
