Mongolemys turfanensis

Taxonomy
Mongolemys trufanensis was named by Yeh (1974). Its type specimen is IVPP V4240, a partial shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Trufan (Turpan), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Subashi Formation of China.

It was corrected as Mongolemys turfanensis by Sukhanov (2000) and Brinkman et al. (2008).
