Taxonomy
Terebratula (Waldheimia) mutabilis was named by Oppel (1861). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Zeilleria (Zeilleria) mutabilis by Alméras et al. (2007); it was recombined as Zeilleria mutabilis by Dulai (1992), Dulai (1993), Siblik (1993) and Vörös (2009).
