Taxonomy
Neothailandina komalarjuni was named by Toriyama and Kanmera (1968). Its type specimen is GK.D 13759, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khao Phlong Phrab Kpp-70, which is in a Roadian shallow subtidal packstone in the Rat Buri Formation of Thailand.
