Nedubrovia deformis was named by Bashkuev (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 5102/8, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sokovka, Vyazniki (PIN collection 5102), which is in a Changhsingian pond claystone in the Russian Federation.
