Taxonomy
Jixianaspis lubricus was named by Zhang et al. (1995). It is not extant. Its type locality is Chishanhe, Jixian, bed 25, which is in a Taijangian carbonate limestone/shale in the Hsuchuang Formation of China. It is the type species of Jixianaspis.
