Marmoretta oxoniensis

Taxonomy
Marmoretta oxoniensis was named by Evans (1991). Its type specimen is BMNH R.12020, a maxilla (anterior part of right maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed), which is in a Bathonian mire/swamp marl in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Marmoretta.
