Taxonomy
Bamyaniceras spatiosum was named by Leonova (1992). Its type specimen is PIN 4240/39 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vozgina River, sample 58/5a, Darvaz Range, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in the Chelamchin Formation of Tajikistan.
