Taxonomy
Paronaella speciosa was named by Uzuncimen et al. (2011). Its type specimen is HU.JMB.0094 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kor-2-17, Korun-2 section, Kocali Complex, which is in a Rhaetian deep-water mudstone in Turkey.
