Pterinopecten dunelmensis

Taxonomy
Tellina dunelmensis was named by Howse (1848). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Humbleton Hill, Durham (Howse coll), which is in a Wuchiapingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Ford Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was synonymized subjectively with Psammobia subpapyracea by King (1850); it was recombined as Pterinopecten dunelmensis by Branson (1948).
