Canoptum levis

Taxonomy
Canoptum levis was named by Tekin (1999). Its type specimen is Pl. 28, fig. 13 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 96-UKT-544/96-UKT-533, Sugozu Measured Section I, Alakircay Nappe, which is in a Longobardian marine chert/mudstone in the Sapadere Formation of Turkey.
