Streblopteria pusilla

Taxonomy
Discites pusillus was named by von Schlotheim (1816). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glücksbrunn, Thuringen, which is in a Wuchiapingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Zechstein Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Pecten pusillus by Howse (1848), King (1850), Howse (1857) and Geinitz (1861); it was recombined as Streblochondria pusilla by Logan (1967); it was recombined as Streblopteria pusilla by Airaghi (1907), Termier and Termier (1977), Muromtseva (1981) and Muromtseva and Guskov (1984).
