Taxonomy
Minojapanella fusiformis was named by Sosnina (1968). Its type specimen is TsGM 54/8248, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Senkina Shapka Mountain, M. sutschanica zone, Suchan River (Maslennikov coll), which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Chandalaz Formation of the Russian Federation.
