Taxonomy
Agnostus simplexiformis was named by Rozova (1964). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kulyumbe River, unit 10, which is in a Mayan carbonate limestone in the Labaz Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Ammagnostus simplexiformis by Peng and Robison (2000) and Naimark and Pegel (2017).
