Taxonomy
Pesaiella obnixa was named by Rozova (1964). It is not extant. Its type locality is Kulyumbe River, unit 14, which is in a Tavgian carbonate limestone in the Kulyumbe Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Pesaiella.
