Pseudodunbarula minuta was named by Orlov-Labkovsky (2004). Its type specimen is G4293-99-10, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gevim-1 borehole, 4293-4299 m, which is in a Capitanian carbonate limestone in Israel.
