Helophorus (Mesosperchus) tarsalis

Taxonomy
Mesosperchus tarsalis was named by Ponomarenko (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 3015/367, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Unda (PIN collection 3015), which is in a Tithonian lacustrine - small horizon in the Glushkovo Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Helophorus (Mesosperchus) tarsalis by Fikáček et al. (2012).
