Caturus ferox

Taxonomy
Conodus ferox was named by Agassiz (1844). Its type specimen is BMNH P.3643, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lyme Regis, Enniskillen collection, which is in a Sinemurian marine horizon in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Caturus ferox by Woodward (1895).
