Z.-J. Fang and J. C. W. Cope 2008 | Subequilateral to inequilateral prosogyrate cycloconchid, with two short anterior teeth and three to six posterior lamellar teeth in each valve, subumbonal teeth weak or lacking. Anterior and posterior internal septa are fused with anterior and posterior myophoric buttresses, respectively, posterior one very strong, fused anteriorly with the posterior tooth of ventral side, extended posteroventrally to about one-third to half of the height. Posterior pedal retractor seems to be the anterodorsal extension of the posterior adductor and attaching tightly to the posterior end of the hinge-plate. |
