Sibyrhynchus denisoni
Taxonomy
Sibyrhynchus denisoni was named by Zangerl and Case (1973). Its type specimen is FMNH PF6408, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bethel Church Excello Shale, Pike County, which is in a Moscovian marine shale in the Carbondale Formation of Indiana. It is the type species of Sibyrhynchus.
