Romerodus orodontus

Taxonomy
Romerodus orodontus was named by Zangerl (1981). Its type specimen is FMNH PF8522, a partial skeleton (anterior half), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hansen Quarry, Quarry 6, Stark Shale, Papillion, which is in a Kasimovian marine shale in the Dennis Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Romerodus.
