Taxonomy
Pleuromya haydeniana was named by Girty (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 7306i green, Cokeville Butte, which is in an Olenekian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Wyoming.
