Taxonomy
Acratia candyae was named by Forel (2012). Its type specimen is P6M2917, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dajiang 05PAJ28, Luodian, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Wujiaping Formation of China.
