Quasillites was named by Coryell and Malkin (1936) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi-u C Ms]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Podocopida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Quasillitidae by Coryell and Malkin (1936) and Crasquin-Soleau et al. (2004).
