Taxonomy
Streptognathodus subdivisus was named by Gunnell (1933). It is not extant. Its type locality is 12th st and viaduct, Cherryvale shale 4c, which is in a Kasimovian marine limestone in the Cherryvale shale Formation of Missouri.
