Taxonomy
Sulcirostra doesseggeri was named by Sulser (2008). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 26650, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ils Fouruns, which is in a Hettangian carbonate lime mudstone in the Allgäu Formation of Switzerland.
