Taxonomy
Cardiella martodjojoi was named by Glenister and Furnish (1987). Its type specimen is SUI 12301 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bitauni (Jonker coll), which is in a Sakmarian/Artinskian marine horizon in Indonesia.
