Taxonomy
Waagenoceras lidacense was named by de Roever (1940). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fatoe Koekatoe, Lidak District, which is in a Roadian/Wordian marine horizon in Indonesia.
It was recombined as Demarezites lidacensis by Glenister and Furnish (1987), Leonova (2002) and Leonova (2010).
