Crassispirifer timorensis
Taxonomy
Spirifer timorensis was named by Martin (1881). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kali-Mati, Tabeno Mountain, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate marl in Indonesia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Spirifer musakheylensis by Rothpletz (1892); it was recombined as Neospirifer timorensis by Archbold and Thomas (1986); it was recombined as Crassispirifer timorensis by Winkler Prins (2008).
