Sinostylops promissus
Taxonomy
Sinostylops promissus was named by Tang and Yan (1976). Its type specimen is IVPP V4263, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yangxiaowu, Qianshan locality 71017, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Doumu Formation of China. It is the type species of Sinostylops.
