Taxonomy
Crurirhynchia baqenae was named by Jin et al. (1979). Its type specimen is NIGP 42811, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yilashan XVIF948, Yiqugou, Baqen County, which is in a Triassic marine horizon in China.
