Aulacothyropsis almensis

Taxonomy
Aulacothyris almensis was named by Moisseiev (1932). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 83/3807 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Salgir River near Eski-Orda village, higher limestone blocks, Crimea, which is in a Rhaetian carbonate limestone in Ukraine.

It was recombined as Aulacothyropsis almensis by Dagys (1963).
