Taxonomy
Knightina harltoni was named by Kellett (1933). Its type specimen is USNM 85458 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Highway 32 west of Linwood, which is in a Kasimovian carbonate limestone in the Stanton Formation of Kansas.
