Costatumulus villiersi
Taxonomy
Productus villiersi was named by d'Orbigny (1842). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yaurichambi (d'Orbigny coll), which is in an Asselian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Copacabana Formation of Bolivia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Productus cancrini by Gabb (1877); it was recombined as Cancrinella villiersi by Chronic (1953), Lee and Gu (1980) and Li et al. (2012); it was recombined as Costatumulus villiersi by Badyrka et al. (2013).
