Taxonomy
Plicatospiriferella grata was named by Klets (1998). Its type specimen is PGO K-513/1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Muramiya River K-513, Ayano-Mayskiy region, which is in a Bashkirian marine horizon in the Tylakhskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
