Taxonomy
Proclydonautilus okhotensis was named by Sobolev (1998). Its type specimen is TsSGM 2001/16 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zhakan Creek, sample C-6-1-(35-38)p, Vtoraya Sentyabr'skaya River, which is in a Julian marine horizon in the Zhakanskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
