Taxonomy
Notothyris qujiangensis was named by Ni (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chashan, Maokou Fm, Qujiang County, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
