Taxonomy
Brachymetopus strzeleckii was named by M'Coy (1847). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dunvegan (W.B. Clarke coll), which is in an Asbian marine siliciclastic in the Flagstaff Formation of Australia.
