Blattidium symyrus

Taxonomy
Blattidium symyrus was named by Westwood (1854). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Lower Purbeck, Swanage (Brodie coll.), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Mesoblattina symyrus by Handlirsch (1906).
