Eurythyreites grandis
Taxonomy
Eurythyrea grandis was named by Deichmüller (1886). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Eichstätt, Solnhofen (SNSD Dresden collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Eurythyreites grandis by Handlirsch (1906).
