J. Sterli 2015Patagoniaemys gasparinae can be diagnosed as a meiolaniform by the presence of strongly anteriorly curved sulci among marginal scutes, small foramina ornamenting the dermal bones and opisthocoelous vertebrae at least in the anterior region of the tail.
