Clevosaurus hudsoni

Taxonomy
Clevosaurus hudsoni was named by Swinton (1939). Its type specimen is BMNH R.5939, a partial skull (part of upper jaw; portions of R and L mandibles w/teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cromhall Quarry Site 1, which is in a Carnian fissure fill limestone/mudstone in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Clevosaurus.

Teeth acrodont, conical, with the cone medially placed and vertically directed, with grea.test width and greatest length approximately equal; stoutly built, regularly arranged and 'without diastemata. Second sacral rib distally bifurcate.
