Bicrisina was named by d'Orbigny (1853) [Sepkoski's age data: K Turo T Mi-u Sepkoski's reference number: 588,1241,1260].

It was assigned to Tubuliporidae by Bassler (1953); and to Cyclostomata by Sepkoski (2002).
